Florida Keys Exotics Task Force
Organized in 1996, this cooperative effort of local, state, and federal agencies, local non-profit groups and businesses, is dedicated to the elimination of invasive, non-native plants by combining programs and financial resources to develop and implement long-term Keys exotic removal and control. The Task Force promotes sound land management of public lands and rights-of-ways, and residential and commercial properties, to halt the spread of exotic plants and restore the native plant communities unique to the Keys.
